Meeting held October 16, 2007, 4:00 PM Attending: Dan Sharadin, Commissioner; Carleton College, Rachel Stephenson; Iowa State University, Sarah Fort; Saint Mary's University, Jen Salzman; Lindenwood University, Ted Greenhouse Potential new members were discussed and no one knew of any possibilities. The league schedule was discussed
and teams voted for the following dates and sites as listed below: Teams hosting were reminded to submit their Pool Reservation Form as soon as possible in order to complete the schedule for the spring. The No-contest and forfeit policy was outlined with the Commissioner reminding everyone to have their Club Supervisor submit a Participation Agreement before the end of the semester to ensure eligibility. Failure to do so will eliminate your team from the chance to compete. The Dress Code was mentioned to remind deck coaches to wear pants and a collared shirt for coaching. The Commissioner also requested that each team contact ensure their athletes have read the Code of Conduct before the season begins. All coaches were urged to complete an Evaluation Form about the officials following each of the competitions.These forms are available on the web. If you are unsure of which referee you would like to evaluate, simply go to the officiating assignment page and click on their name, at which point their picture will appear for easy identification. in light of the potential growth. Teams indicated they wanted to split
into two divisions if the northern region gains at least one team to
make a viable division. However, in the event that no team joins, the

Meeting held October 30, 2007, 5:00 PM Attending: Dan Sharadin, Commissioner; Grand Valley State University, Michelle Clancy, Western Michigan University, Kaelyn Christian; Dayton, University of, Megan Stowe; Miami University, Carly Wade; Ohio University, Kristen Severson; Washington University, Jenny Macy The situation regarding the size of the divisions was discussed and the Commissioner explained the Midwest no longer had enough teams to maintain a separate division. No one knew of any potential new members and Miami indicated it was not sure of its ability to field a “B” team this next season. Based on this information the Ohio Valley and Midwest Divisions will be combined for 2008. The format for the competition was debated and teams originally were deadlocked regarding whether they should move to a three-tournament format. After more discussion the members decided to maintain the two-tournament format used now. To reduce travel, coaches voted to use the regional concept for the first weekend in which teams would play within their region and then seeded for the championship based on their won/loss record from the first tournament. If they cannot host either weekend, the bid reverts to New York University on February 23-24. and both Bowdoin and Boston were interested in hosting the championship.

Their games will need to be played on weeknights in order to make the schedule, with a potential of five games played during the Bowdoin weekend. Meeting held December 12, 2007, 7:00 PM EST Attending: Dan Sharadin, Commissioner; University of Oregon, Liz Sampson; University of Washington, Mike Wallen and Mira Ho; Western Washington University, Elise Averill and Sarah Henneford Potential new members were
discussed and Mike Wallen indicated that Washington State and Central
Washington might have enough women to field teams. Likewise Idaho or
Idaho State might be a possible new program. Western Washington and Oregon both declined the opportunity to host. Western Oregon and Oregon State were not on the call and therefore unable to verify their ability to secure a pool. Oregon State has hosted the last two years and hopefully will be able to host at the Osborn Aquatic Center again this season. If not, Curtis HS was reserved as a back-up site. UCLA also confirmed they will have a B team. or UC Davis The preferred date for Saint Mary’s is March 8-9. If they cannot get that date, they will try to secure the weekend in February. If Saint Mary’s is unable to host, Fresno State will have the option. Saint Mary’s will let the office know by Friday with a final decision. at Northside If Trinity is unable to obtain their pool, Rice University will check into the possibility of hosting at Sterling High School. However, they would prefer not to host this season.
