3. Team outlook information

Submit a paragraph about your team for the upcoming season, listing top stars returning, goals
they scored or shots blocked last season, and any new recruits that will impact the team's success.

Example:

University of Maryland

Maryland comes into 2000 in a rebuilding mode.  Last year the Terrapins finished with a #13 ranking
and a Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship, but only three of Maryland's top twelve players from
'99 may return. The greatest void occurs on offense, with the graduation of all-Americans Katie Vitali,
Katie Polasek, and Christina McCall. To compensate, this year the team will rely heavily on senior
Fernanda Alfinito, a returning starter who scored 20 goals last season and was one of the team's
defensive leaders last year in steals and blocked shots.  Maryland should be stable at the two-meter
position with Katherine Kerr and returning starter Jaclyn Corr. However, their greatest strength is at
the defensive end, where all-Conference goalie Jamie Mahkorn returns to frustrate shooters. Seniors
Natalie Gordon and Katia Cervoni, juniors Alexis Bierman and Rebecca Harris, and sophomore Kate Garguerevich will all see substantial playing time this spring and will be counted on to keep Maryland competitive.
