Process for Requesting Hotel Reservations

Head Referees are required to fill out the Referee Hotel Request Form in order to make hotel arrangements for league events. The request form is submitted directly to the league office who will handle reserving the room(s) and providing the hotel with the league credit card for payment. Referee hotel requests should be submitted at the start of the season and no later than three weeks prior to the tournament date. Requests submitted after this date risk the chance of not finding a hotel within a reasonable distance from the tournament location.

In order to complete the Referee Hotel Request Form, the head referee must make sure to include: the tournament location, tournament date, the number of rooms needed, as well as the arrival and departure dates. This means the head referee will need to know the travel needs for all officials scheduled to work the league event. All officials are asked to contact their head referee with travel plans and housing needs at the start of the season.

Hotel arrangements booked directly by the head referee without using the Referee Hotel Request Form will need to provide the office with the original hotel receipt in order to receive reimbursement following the league event.
